One of Our Stars
Munther Rayahneh “the man of the significant roles”:

He is "Al-Ameen" in (Abna'a Al-Rasheed: Al-Ameen and Al-Ma'amoun) the caliph who suffered from the betrayal of his brother, the dearest to his heart and the one who turned against him. Rayahneh is "Zawwad" in (Ras Ghlais), the son of the head of the tribe, the impetuous, the hasty and the furious. In (The Invasion), he is Mustafa, the Palestinian commando who fled to the mountains.
Munther Rayahneh imposed his qualitative presence on the little screen in a very short time. He enriched his artistic career through a number of productions that won the admiration of the viewers. He also won several Arab prizes like the Golden Prize for "Abna'a Al-Rasheed" from Cairo Festival of Radio and Television.

He started his artistic life as an actor in "The Valentine" a play that took place at the theatre of Al-Yarmouk University where he studied Television and Theatre Production. As soon as he graduated in the year 2004, he began his drama career with Jordan Television in" Naheel" series, followed by "The Secret of the Blossoms", which was his real entry card to the world of drama. His successive productions (The Rough Road, The School of Teacher Bahjat, Shou Hal-Haki, Mre'o Alquays, Ras Ghlais, Al-Ameen and Al-Ma'amoun, The Invasion) continued to hold the same distinctive quality mark. He was also the director of the comic programme"Baseeta", and the documentary film "Small Projects".

The Invasion…life at earshot bullets

The Invasion is about the horrible events accompanied The Preventive Shield Operation carried out by the Israeli Army in the West Bank, with a special focus on the legendary resistance of Jenin Camp and the contemporary Palestinian reality. This series moves the viewers away from the stereotyped news coverage, the political and emotional mobilization to an understanding of the everyday life of the Palestinians without direct political slogans. In fact, it highlights the national unity of the Palestinians and avoids meddling in their differences. In the context of the series loaded with real and documented events and details, The Invasion presents the story of Abu-Salem's family, their divergent and interwoven relations, in addition to the story of Abu-Khalid's family in Jenin: Khalid is the teacher, Amjad a prisoner, Mustafa a fugitive, Hanan a nurse, side by side with other characters picked up from the reality and transmitted by the channels. Real people like "Abu-Basil", "Abu-Jandal", "Al-Tawalbeh", and "Saeed" a photographer who receives a killing bullet at the exact moment of finally achieving his dream in life; capturing a specific snapshot that would enable him to marry his beloved “Muna”. The series also reflects the real story of those who took refuge in the mountains to flee an unfair confrontation imposed upon them. We see Mustafa and his comrades saving two girls from a road accident: Maryam (an Arab with Israeli nationality) and Yael (Jewish).

A love story begins between Mustafa and Yael. Against all the public and private circumstances that should separate them, reach a moment of mutual confession of love as an expression of their humanity.
